2011-2012 LRE Yearbook Receives Honors in National Competition

In an earlier blog post, we highlighted an award that was given to Stoneybrooke’s San Juan Elementary 2011-2012 yearbook. Since then, it has come to our attention that another one of our yearbooks from last year received honors as well!

Entourage Yearbooks holds a nationally sponsored contest that judges yearbooks in a variety of categories. The Ladera Ranch Elementary yearbook took home the 3rd place award for the category of Page Layout Design. According to Entourage Yearbooks, “Page layout design is judged based on the overall layout design, the use of innovative techniques, and the use of captions, headlines, and graphic elements.”

In addition, the same yearbook received an Honorable Mention in the Yearbook Design category. Hundreds of schools from all across America entered the competition, and Stoneybrooke is proud to have risen to the top in two categories!

A big thanks goes out to LRE yearbook staff moms Patty Cooke, Lori Szkotnicki, and Akemi Schubert for all their hard work and creativity. The entry was officially awarded on October 31, 2012, and Stoneybrooke is proud of this wonderful accomplishment!
